The maximum value of RI₁₂ of a cycle is a precursor of the maximum of the next cycle. It is necessary to separate odd and even cycles in the linear regression. [Even cycle -> Odd cycle] improves a well known rule claiming that the maximum of a odd cycle is higher than the previous cycle by about 40 units. The regression coefficient is rather good with r = 0.777. The other method [Odd cycle -> Even cycle] is less efficient : the regression coefficient is only 0.443.
